Rosmarinic acid is a kind of water-soluble natural phenolic acid isolated from rosemary, which is widely distributed in Labiatae, arnebiaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Tiliaceae and Umbelliferae, especially in Labiatae and arnebiaceae.

Function:

Scavenging and antioxidation of free radicals: rosmarinic acid has strong scavenging activity and antioxidation.

Rosmarinic acid can inhibit nephritis.

Rosmarinic acid also had inhibitory effect on plant pathogenic fungi, especially on Botrytis cinerea, Botrytis cinerea, Penicillium citri and Alternaria piricola
